Astrological Schools

We would strongly advise any astrologer who wishes to practice as a professional to obtain a recognised qualification.

There are many astrological schools and, with the rise of the Internet more and more courses are being offered, especially on-line. Unfortunately not all of these courses are 'genuine' and in any case the newer ones have not had time to establish themselves. This means that, even if you do gain a qualification we may NOT be able to automatically offer you membership.

Also note that, because of the time that it takes to evaluate the course content and the standard of teaching we are unable to comment on the suitability or otherwise of courses that are 'unknown' to us.

Our current list of recommended Schools/Examining Bodies is as follows:

Faculty of Astrological Studies

the Mayo School of Astrology

the Huber School now known as API (UK)

the Qualifying Horary Diploma Course

The Centre for Psychological Astrology

the Astrological Guild of Educators

the White Eagle School of Astrology

the National Council for GeoCosmic Research, Inc

Federation of Australian Astrologers

AstroSynthesis

London School of Astrology
